Taking It Easy

Finally today there was a break in the grey and rain (I spent all day yesterday watching the BBC's Pride and Prejudice - perfect rainy day entertainment!) So to make the most of it I went for a little trip to Richmond. I haven't been there for years and there weren't as many antique shops to look in as I remember, but it was good to be out in the fresh air and sunshine. Some of the little cottages are so lovely, but so tiny!

Richmond looks lovely! Glad to see you are having a nice holiday! How about some shots of Hobart...I would be so interested to see the streets where you live and get a sense of what Hobart is like...I am sure you would make a good job of it!

Ha! Your Autumn looks warmer than my Summer! Glad you're having a nice break!

Great pic with the flag. Apparently New Norfolk is now the place for antique shops, like Richmond used to be.
Enjoy your break!

I spent all of Sunday watching Pride and Predjudice while working on Matilda's quilt.. excellent way to spend a day. Antiques, sunshine and cottages would also be an excellent way to spend a day though.
