Bright Star

I saw Bright Star on Saturday and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head ever since. It is stunningly beautiful, there are so many scenes that have stayed in my mind. I want to see it again right now. I love that Keats wears blue and Fanny that beautiful pinky red, and that all the seasons are so vivid. I haven’t seen a film for quite a while that made me feel like this.

I wanted to share a little follow up on my last post, beautiful George very sadly passed away yesterday. He was a very charismatic being and it is so so sad.

Oh, I have really been wanting to see this!

Also, after your comment on my blog I realized that you had Mumford & Sons on your post of music of '09. They are sooo good!

Sorry about your sad news on George. I always had ginger cats growing up and they had the nicest temperaments. So sorry.

Can you really recommend this film then - my mother-in-law was talking about going to see it?

Hi Catherine, I've heard a lot of good things about this film and really want to see it, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

So sorry to read your little footnote about George, I popped across to your blog yesterday but didn't have time to leave a comment but I thought then how cool he looked and full of character. So sad when peoples animals pass away, he was obviously much loved.

oh darn it! I was just at the movie rental store 2 hours ago and had it in my hands. I put it down and got Julie and Julia. I should have gotten both.
