Little Things

Today:
*I like the way the yellow tulips brighten my mantlepiece
*I’ve listened to The Mall and Misery by Broken Bells at least five times, I think it’s my favourite from the album
*I spent half my lunch hour in the line at spotlight, no fun on a perfect blue-sky day
*I feel like taking a holiday somewhere new and exciting

Your mantle is so lovely. I like the cluster of pictures rather than my slightly too cliche mirror .

I love fresh flowers in the house. This week I purchased a bunch of lovely pink lilies, they brighten up the house :)

Your Wednesday doesn't sound too bad, I'm still at work here. Love the tulips, so bright and cheerful. I must have a look at the broken bells cd to see if amazon have it as I clicked on the last link you posted for them and they sound pretty good!

I love your pictures hanging from the picture rail. Pictures rail are a fantastic period feature and such gorgeous high ceilings too.

xx

PS: I have a little surprise on my blog for you.

I hope at the very least spotlight had the goods for you and something worthwhile comes of time spent in the queue.

Always lovely to see the little details in your home.

Your mantle looks gorgeous! I love seeing people's mantles :)
Gosh, isn't Spotlight annoying at times? It sounds like you have a few crafty ideas on the go - I look forward to seeing the results!

Hi! I just found your blog through Nestled In. I love your home. Can you tell me who the artists are in your picture?
