On tuesday I had a lovely quiet day off at home and and since it was grey and a little cold decided to try macaron attempt number 2 (attempt no 1 is here). I think they were much better, they still need some tweaking and perhaps a little less colour but wow they tasted good....mmmm!

Attempt No. 2 looks better. They are some seriously delicious morsels, even for me, with a sweet tooth, one is enough.
But tell me, what will you do with the egg yolks?
Great job Catherine! They look yummy - love the colours :)
These look really good. I love how even the crumbled/broken ones are tasty.
They look fab Catherine. I happened to stumble on a recipe the other day so maybe I will give them a try :) You've inspired me!

They look totally gorgeous and divine - I haven't been brave enough to try making them myself yet!
