Chive Flower


A pretty chive flower from my garden of pots, do you know can you eat these? By the way my tomato plants have gone mad and nearly tripled in size over the last week, I'm hoping for a bumper crop.
Happy 1st day of december. 1st day of summer!

I don't know you could eat the flower, but they're very pretty. My tomatoes are coming along ok as well, hopefully much better than last year's dismal effort :)

Our tomatoes have gone mad too! We'll have lots for summer if the pests don't get to them first..You have a beautiful blog, I love the food photography..Rachaelxx

I've never had a flower on our chives yet and seeing as ours look as though they've been frizzled in the heat we've been having over here in Perth, I don't think I'll be seeing one anytime soon. Didn't realise they were edible.

Ha lovely! Ooh so nice that summer is with you. We have had about two foot of snow here!!
