Market Baskets

I’ve been eyeing off various market baskets for a while now, I don’t have one of my own (the white kikki.k one in the post below belongs to my mum and I keep nicking it!) but they are so handy. I can’t decide whether to go with the traditional straw one or mix it up a bit.

straw basket with tan handles
kikki.k plastic basket
straw basket with green handles
white straw basket
blonde and brown woven basket
black and white stripe basket

I've been eyeing off market baskets myself - love the first one in the traditional look - would be perfect for visiting the Farmer's Markets here on a Sunday. Hope you're having a good week x

I have an african style weaved basket that my mum bought me for Christmas last year. She got it from a stall at our local farmers markets. I love it! My mum, sister and I all have matching ones.

Market baskets are one of the few things I take a traditional view own. Natural. Tan leather. So chic.

(I can't believe I just said chic, giggles)

I've had my eye on that Madewell tote for quite a while now! I only wish it was a little less wide/round and more flat. I daydream about packing it up with some sandwiches and snacks for the perfect summer picnic.
