Distracted

I realise I am easily distracted, I took these shots on Saturday in the midst of trying to cook bechemel sauce for a lasagne...possibly not ideal timing, but the light was just about to go and I liked the way they looked strewn across the table. Oh and the lasagne did turn out ok thankfully. The weekend was a nice one, an enjoyable Indian dinner, Beastie Boys blasting on saturday morning for MCA (so very sad), getting through chores I've had for ages like taking a massive pile of magazines to the recycling shop, and watching movies like Barney's Version and How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.

I have been known to do this also...when I should be preparing dinner for my children I will drop everything for a photo just because the light changes or something catches my eye...lucky the kids are getting older and are getting used to their crazy mum! Those flowers are pretty :)

I get very distracted too when I see a nice detail, shadow or patch of light. Your pics are really very lovely. Worth risking lasagna for :)

I think it's important to take advantage of those 'perfect light moments' and 'perfect photo opportunities'. If I did something like that though, no doubt whatever I had on the stove would end up burnt :)

Soooo pretty. I would have had to stop and take photos, as well.
