Winter

Seems that June has arrived far too quickly for my liking, now it's that quiet time of the year when things slow down, the days get colder and darker and I struggle a bit. This weekend really did feel wintery and I've started it off with a sinus infection followed by a head cold...

I have a few things I want to achieve this winter though and I'm hoping they will get me through: getting better at running outside (as opposed to the treadmill at the gym), learning to make brioche and bagels, knitting and updating the design here. I'm sure there are others.....any suggestions?

In the shots above:
*I started knitting a new scarf
*Bright pink and orange tulips for $10
*Ratatouille made from an Agrarian Kitchen recipe

Lovely pics! So strange you guys are almost in winter and it's just heating up here! Sounds like you're well prepared though! X

The cold weather makes me want to knit too (even though I knit very badly!)

Winter has really set in. I like winter days when there's sun, but it has been so grey.
Oh you poor thing with a sinus infection. I have been having sinus issues - I thought there was something wrong with my teeth and went to the dentist for him to tell me it was my sinus. I felt like an idiot.
Your pics are just beautiful Catherine. Keep warm! x

LOVE your photos - tulips are stunning. I've been sick too but hoping to really pick up some good habits and tick some things off the list this winter too.

Gorgeous photos! Sorry to hear you've been unwell with your sinuses - we've had sickness here too lately, the only thing I dislike about wintery weather. It's been freezing here today x

you're so right, wiinter really did land with a thud, didn't it. i love the tulips - their colour is guaranteed joy on a grey day. cold grey weather makes me want to hibernate, so my goal is to keep active, somehow.
