mak mak

On Anzac day afternoon after our walk from Coogee to Bondi, Matt settled himself on the couch with beer to watch the football, and I went for a wander on King Street, in Newtown where the apartment we stayed in was. I ended up getting myself a pedicure and manicure (which felt like a nice holiday indulgence) and then visited the mak mak store. I'd seen mak mak on Broadsheet (with photo's by the very talented Luisa Brimble) and I knew I'd have to check it out. The colours of these macarons are beautiful and the flavour combinations excellent, although I still regret not getting an apricot and elderflower to try.

Beautiful colour choices! I didn't like any of the ones I had in Paris so I might need to try some of these to resume the taste testing! ;)
