Needing Pretty and Inspiring

I've reached that count down stage. Today I sat at work looking at my calendar finding various different ways of making the time till the end of the year seem sooner than it really is. I'm a bit burnt out, it's been a big year of stress, and I'm done with it all now.

So I've been trying to make sure things at home are pretty and inspiring to keep me going that little bit longer, lots of new books (Donna Hay's Seasons - such great styling, and Cupcakes from the Primrose Bakery in London - very good cake!), christmas magazines and a new print (that I'm so glad is available again as I missed out the first time).

PS when I load my photo's onto blogger they seem to come out at a much poorer quality...does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Love those flowers on your table Catherine. I saw that Donna Hay book the other day - what's it like? It looked good from what I saw when flicking. I've been having the same issues with the photos on my blog - very annoying!!

I know what you mean about needing pretty and inspitring, especially as it's getting so dark and damp here now. Also I have a sore throat and swollen glands and feel pretty yuk so am pleased you have such lovely photos, (they seem fine from this end but might depend on your res you upload to flickr as Casie says)I love the cupcakes and your gorgeous books - that's enough to cheer anyone up! :)
