In the Park

I’m finding the grey skies and increasingly short days a little depressing at the moment, and yes we are only two days into winter. I did chase the sunshine at lunch today and take some pictures in the park. (my first in manual mode, it needs work but that's cool.)

I am hanging out for a few supplies to arrive in my letterbox so I can start a new crafty project I have in mind. It’s been awhile, so I am looking forward to working on something different and hoping it will help cheer me up a little. I’m also starting a knitting course with a friend tomorrow night which is bound to be entertaining and hopefully productive!

a song for a wednesday: Faster by Janelle Monae.

The first two days of winter do look beautiful in the park. Summer is approaching with heat here.

It's been freezing cold here tonight too but we've had sunny skies the last few days. I've been trying to soak up the sunshine before the rainy days hit us. Your knitting class sounds like a wonderful year - if I lived in Tassie I'd definitely join you!! :)

I went to the Botanical Gardens the other day to take some pics of the past of the autumn leaves. Hobart is so pretty when the sun comes out on cool days.
A new craft project sounds like a great idea!

Pretty photos.
Ergh, tell me about it, I woke to the thickest fog today, not coping.

At least there's a peek of blue sky!
The temperature's certainly conducive for knitting. Enjoy!

I have been sun chasing too, (it rained nearly the whole week in Bali) and I always feel so depressed when winter creeps up on us, but now it has started, just think how the end of it is getting nearer every day! Hope you get a little more sun to brighten your mood, and enjoy some new projects.
