cupcakes and macarons

I went to a new gorgeous cake shop in north hobart called sweet envy on the weekend, apparently it has been there for six weeks already, hmm obviously don't go to north hobart very often! They let me take a picture inside and then I took my goodies home and took a few more shots and shared them for afternoon tea. It's pretty cool to have a little shop like this in town.

Ah, yes, Catherine, it is a little bit fancy for this old town! And they are so delicious. Reading this makes me want to go there now! J x

Yes, I've seen it but haven' tried anything yet - maybe today? I was wanting to try the macarons to see if mine tasted similar.
Ah, I thought it looked like Citrus Moon with those old mismatched tables. I have had the yummiest veg salad there. Mmmm

... can't talk... mouth full of WANT...

This is certainly not helping my 20 year diet to stay on track during its 21 year, Catherine!! But, oh, such deliciousness deserves those terrific photos. x

I would love to have a small bakery that makes macarons, but sad to say, it doesn't exist here. The lovely little cookie haven't quite hit the market yet, so I'm pooling all my expectations for the trip to Paris next spring. Ladurée have my heart <3

This looks like a delightful bakeshop, you presented the treats deliciously, if only I could reach through the screen.

Ah, I see these things in a new light. I'm taking baking class and it gets pretty messy for me!
