Your thoughts?

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I think I have been at a bit of a loss as to what to actually blog about and photograph. What do you all like seeing/reading here most? I could set up one of those survey thingys but honestly I would just love your thoughts.

I’m sure the winter weather isn’t helping my inspiration much either, it’s just grey grey, with some crazy rain in the mix. I think I need to learn to embrace it....somehow.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

By the way did you catch Sam's great little film over on Island Menu...I think it's so great.

I love your blog. I love when you include daily life photos, food you cook, places you visit, what you're reading and recommendations for visitors to Tassie. I say blog about whatever you are passionate about though rather than what anyone else wants. Your aesthetic is beautiful and that will shine through no matter the topic.

I love whatever topic you blog about - your everyday photos of your life, your home and things you've been up to are what inspire me the most. I always look forward to your posts :)

I would like to read more about Hobart. Nice photos of the city and your favourite spots.

I totally agree with the first to comments. Blog about whatever is happening in your life! I love your photos and just the everydayness of the posts.I also love the simplicity of the photos. I love peeking into other people's lives and their weekends...

Hello there! I am totally with you here...I am at a bit of a loss as to what to blog about these days too...I sort of can't be arsed in a way as everything feels really "blah" as you would say! So, I think it is just a little blip you are going through. I agree with the comments above too. It is great seeing pictures of your everyday life, glimpses of your lovely home...I love your photographs. I also like seeing your wish lists and am looking forward to seeing your new look living area once you get your new sofa :) Keep the old mandible elevated I say...spring is nearly there for you! Your blog is my all time favourite :)

I love snaps of your home, neat products that I glimpse in your pictures, great food pictures, etc. Not one thing, but many little inspiring things. I love blogs when they inspire me to go somewhere or do or make something that I saw.

Hi Catherine, I like your blog just how it is, a nice mix of things. I feel a bit the same way and sometimes feel like I'm ripping people off ad um not renovating like I intended to in the beginning. I suppose we have to just blog for ourselves and trust that our blogging friends will enjoy taking the ride with us :)
I hope you are keeping warm x

Hi there :-)

One thing I really appreciate about your blog is its original content. A number of blogs --- often very good ones --- source content from other sites and blogs, which means the same images and ideas crop up again and again.

I guess the things I particularly enjoy in personalised blogs are ideas that I can borrow and adapt: music lists, glimpses into your home, how you put together Christmas decorations... these little things are much more accessible (and enjoyable!) than the content of blogs that aggregate others' content.

Good luck with the bleugh feeling. It'll pass :) They always do, and soon spring will be here to help!

Cat, I enjoy everything you blog about and all of the pictures you take! Your observations are so beautiful and I think you do a fantastic job of sharing and in such an honest way, too.

Interestingly, it's the daily life of others that I find the most intriguing and special. Photos, recipes, music and colour. It's what we have in common and why I read here in the first place. You're genuine, you're original....you're you.

Keep up the great content, even if you go through a lull.
