It's funny, I want to post here but lately don't really know what to write about. Bloggers block? Sometimes I think my everyday life events aren't really blog-worthy.

This week is a week I've been waiting for, Sigur Ros on thursday night, Radiohead on friday night and a bit of a break off this island. Two of my all time favourite bands in two nights, in two different cities, may be slightly overwhelming but definitely exciting. Does anyone have any tips for things to do in Adelaide? It's a bit of a mystery to me. Plus I am looking forward to visiting the new Marimekko store in Melbourne, I visited one of their stores when I was in Sweden last year but was so conscious of luggage weights that I really was quite restrained, not so much this time!

Pics are a few from around the house, I'm still working out the light here, haven't quite sussed it out yet, but when I do I'll post some more.

hi catherine, i've been reading your blog for ages and usually just pop past, have a read and don't comment... however I too had this block for ages, and felt that I 'couldn't' write about everyday stuff. In the end, I revamped my blog and rebranded as the-unremarkable-days.com and now I feel that I can write about whatever takes my fancy. Weird, it was sort of like giving myself permission?... hope that you find your groove again soon. x

ps: I'm in melbourne and i've been eagerly anticipating the marimekko opening... now I just need to find the time to get over there!

Yeah, blog block. I hear you. As for Adelaide... I don't LOVE Adelaide. That was me being diplomatic, by the way...

I've been having a bit of blogger's block too lately, perhaps it's this time of year when things are getting hectic. Our cousin is heading over to the Radiohead concert too. Paul would have loved to have gone. It's funny, I'm a big fan of Radiohead and love their music but I can't actually tell you the title of a song when I hear it :) I just like listening to their stuff :) I hope you have a great time at their concert. As for Adelaide, I went there over ten years ago now. We did a tour of the Barossa Valley (it included Maggie Beer's place) which was good. Apart from that, we just browsed around town and took a drive out to Victor Harbour. Have fun!

Yep, I'm the same on my blog. I feel frustrated by my lack of camera and just don't know what to talk about. Does anyone really care?
Have fun visiting Marimekko! A very good reason to get to Melbourne.
By the way, I think your light is just perfect!

Yes I often stare at my screen hoping for some blogging inspiration! (and then often find I don't have the time or the inclination when an idea does pop into my head!) We hope our friends and followers forgive us! Your photos, and your home bits are lovely, and that's a good enough post for me! x
