This Weekend

Somehow February arrived already! Last week was quite busy at work and I felt rather mentally drained and worn out so I needed a good relaxing weekend and it has been exactly that. I went to salamanca market for poppies (still really loving them) and blueberries, spent some time on the couch flicking through mags (the new world of interiors has the home of the owners of Toast - it's pretty cool), did some baking and listened to Bat for Lashes/Alt-J/Coconut Records, went to the gym and for a run, and picked the first of my big tomatoes. All very much needed.

That pie looks yummy and your tomatoes are very cute sitting there in front of the window. Hope you have a good week ahead x

gorgeous photography! I hope February is more relaxing for you... I am longing for Spring here. Just need Feb to whizz by and we will be greated with March and the nodding heads of daffodils xx

It sounds like a nice weekend Catherine, except for the running bit. I so need to get fitter! I am starting to pick tomatoes now - such a summer flavour and smell :)

Sounds like a lovely relaxing weekend. Speaking of magazines, I wonder why you haven't mentioned your Island Menu article in the Delicious Magazine? It was great! The recipes from both of you looked wonderful and it showed off Tassie at its best. Well done!!
