This Weekend...

Some more photographs I’ve taken recently, actually I’ve been thinking about getting the Diana Edelweiss, sure it looks really cute but I think it also could be a lot of fun to shoot with. Has anyone had any experince with lomo’s?

I've been wanting to get a Holga, but keep worrying about the hassle of buying and processing 120 format film. I think it looks like so much fun to shoot with, but sort of a pain to find a place to process the film!

That Diana looks adorable!

I love the garland on your wall. Did you make it? Your photos are always so pretty.

you have to be open to a lot of shots that don't work out - the plastic lenses give a really dreamy sometimes slightly off-focus, polaroid-esque feel which can be lovely. i love lo-fi photography (did my honours in photography) and love all lomos/holgas/toy cameras. have fun! go forth, leave your expectations behind and enjoy!

I passed up a milk vase for $8 at the market, and now regretting it.. oh well an excuse to go back this weekend :)

Pretty, pretty garland! As always, lovely photos!

Lovely milk glass Catherine. I think your camera consideration sounds very exciting, I've seen a lot of stuff online about the Diana cameras and they look so much fun. I love digital photography but was thinking it mught be fun to shoot with film. You'll have to let us know if you decide to get it!

The garland looks adorable....A holga is something I truly covet, they look like so much fun and regret not picking one up at small rhino when i could. Sigh, the Diana is beautiful, and I love the photos they take...get one!

I'm very happy with my diana, you've just reminded me I need to bust it out again, I keep forgetting I have it. I second kee and fi; only expect half of the shots to come out and you won't be disappointed. I've only shot two rolls but it's already obvious that you get the best results in cloudy conditions, the pictures don't come out quite as dreamy in full sunlight.

lovely garland!

p.s. don't get a holga, the pictures don't come out a sharp, but thats just my opinion!
