The results of Friday night’s baking, I used the Donna Hay gingerbread recipe but substituted cinnamon for ground ginger (no one in my family seems to like gingerbread?). I went to see
Paul Dempsey on Saturday night and he was lovely as always and the sun came out, so it was a good weekend.
I hope everyone is having a great week!

Oh yummy...perfect way to prepare for Christmas!
The look sooo delicious!
Sounds like a wonderful weekend! I use to hate gingerbread but grown to quite like it now.
Oh Catherine they look fabulous! This is what I envisaged for my Christmas biscuits but I got lazy and just piped a centre spot instead. Was it fiddly piping the 'snowflake' pattern? I'll have to put a bit more time into this next year. Yours look so pretty! Hope things calm down a bit for you in the lead up to Christmas so you can have a relaxing break x
I have baked two lots of Christmas biscuits and not taken a photo of any on them. Ok. That's it. I am going to make more and actually get the camera out.
I'll bet those bickies taste good! They look lovely too. :)
They look AMAZING!! I bet they smell great. I'm about to get in the kitchen and bake shortbread and fruit mince pies. I hope they turn out as well as your bickies!
Your patience is admirable. They look too good to eat.
Hopefully things are winding down for you.
