A Pretty Gift

My mum had a day in Melbourne this week and brought me back some pretty macarons from Laurent. Of course I had to photograph them, so far the lime and the lemon have been my favourites, I guess I like citrus. They were good for cheering me up : )

They're so pretty, good thinking taking a photo before you eat them, don't know that I'd have the restraint:-)

Yum! I'd love to know what a real one tastes like. Maybe I'll try one when I go to Melb next?
Hope you are feeling better :)

Ada and Darcy have been macaroon happy for months and now I find them on your blog also. Mopping up drool as I type. How delicious and oh so pretty. I hope they tasted as good as they look. Next I'm in Melbourne I'll be heading down that gorgeous Little Collins Street and buying up big at Laurent!
