Strawberries

Some pictures I took at a friend’s place last night with proper lighting! We have been talking about food photography for ages and then the opportunity came up when he was asked to take some pictures for another friends berry farm. I learnt a lot.... basically it’s kinda hard, it needs a lot of thought and preparation before hand, and I need a much better camera! It was a lot of fun though even if it was probably one of the hottest nights to be doing something like this.

Talk about food porn! Yum. Off to find some strawberries...

By the way - those pink plates are to die for! Vintage?

These are some of my favourite photos ever of yours Catherine - what a great opportunity to get together with your friend and practise some food styling and get some tips - this is something I'd love to get better at and you are someone who's photos in this area I already look to for inspiration x
