Pink Peonies

First peonies of the season. So beautiful, the big ruffled petals in soft changing pinks.
Daylight savings started yesterday it is amazing how much of a difference more daylight at the end of the day can make. I am starting to think about summer, warmer nights, walks after dinner, hopefully home grown strawberries, and generally the lighter mood that summer brings with it.
Tonight I am working on some designs, I hope to share them soon.

Oh how exciting. I love when the peonies come out, they are my favourites. Can't get them all the time in Brissie though :(

Absolutely stunning! I love to see that your peonies are blooming right when ours all froze up. So refreshing.

I love blogging because at just the moment when I'm feeling miserable because it's getting darker in the evenings and the leaves are falling off the trees I can find a post like this to lift my spirits. It is summer somewhere! Beautiful flowers :)
