Oh and for more show and tell today I ordered these vintage shoes off etsy earlier this week, can't wait for them to arrive. I have a serious tan-shoe issue.

Streaming

Ahh if only I had a little more time here today I would be so happy!
Sun streaming in, little on my mind and maybe a book to read. Instead it was a bit frantic. I'm longing for slow summer days.

Hi there,

Yet another monday has rolled around! Please excuse my absence here for the past week (wow that time vanished!). I've been a little busy lately planning, making and preparing because very excitingly I will be participating in my first craft market in just under two weeks!
I have plans for these jars I scored at the recycle shop, I think they look quite lovely as they are, but soon enough they will be filled with some of my handmade goodies!
Luckily however I did get to have a break this past weekend and we went away for a friends wedding in the country, lots of good food, friends and champagne (oh and of course dancing!) all in all a good weekend! I hope you had a lovely one too! xx

Rearranging

I've been rearranging things in my little flat, it's so much fun. I've grouped lots of green things in the hall, I'm definitely in a 'green' phase.
My favourite at the moment is the Marimekko tray. I've loved the pattern for quite a while and sent my mum off on a wild goose chase in Sydney a few months ago to find it for me with no luck. Then by chance I visited a store here with the pattern on a tea towel, they were able to order the last tray in Australia (in that pattern) for me. It's nice to walk in the door and be greeted by lots of cheery greens.

Discoveries

Today at lunch I decided I would start thinking about my christmas shopping and headed to Salamanca (where there are lots of galleries, a brilliant bookshop and the best smelling chocolate shop!)
Instead of finding potential gifts I stumbled upon the beautiful paintings of Junko Go which I felt I had to share here. I could have spent the whole of my lunch hour discovering all the little things on the big canvasas and they look amazing in person.

Lots of Not Much

This week I'm all on my lonesome, rd is away for work so it's been quiet, really quiet. Resulting in me watching the entire first season of Gossip Girl in three days. I hate to think how many hours of tv that is, terrifying for a girl who rarely even turns the thing on! So now I am babysitting...I mean catsitting the little girl above and a big grey boof who has gone into hiding since I arrived. It's one of those weeks, even work is strangely quiet, so there's alot of not much happening here, I love it!

Tempted

Happy Monday. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was peaceful some spring cleaning was done, along with baking, reading and music, very enjoyable!

So I'm not sure if I've shared my stationary obsession here before, but whenever I spy new crisp notebooks, pens, rulers etc I go a little weak at the knees and reason flies out the window. Who says I don't need more! The o-check stationary range has definitely hit a weak spot and it's all so gorgeous and far too easily available at a store I walk past most days of the week. Temptation may get the better of me.

Etsy Store Update

The Store has been updated today and filled with lots of Christmas paper goods. I've enjoyed every minute of cutting, hole punching, printing and ribbon and thread tying. I hope you will stop by and take a look.

Interior Love

This weeks interior love pictures both come from the Real Living Christmas edition, two amazing bookcases. I love the styling in the white one and the gorgeous chandaliers sitting on the top and the bottom picture completely satisfies my current love of pink. So pretty.

Happy November! I have to say I do love this time of year.
I am now officially back online and it's wonderful! Thank you for all your comments they really were very helpful, in the end I decided that the MacBook was just a little too small and living in a tiny flat, as I do, portability wasn't such a great issue. iMac and I are in love, definitely in the honeymoon stage (is that completely sad to say about a machine.....quite possibly!). Posts will now be on a more regular basis and I can't wait to check out all I've missed on your own blogs.

Store Update

Three new little additions to the store. I enjoyed making these a lot, I did have grand ideas with feathers but love the way they've turned out. They look quite pretty hanging on the door, or even a cupboard, but could work on a christmas tree.
