Wish List Pt 2 (a little closer to home)

1. Donna Hay No Time to Cook - It's not really that I have no time, but all the recipes in this book look so easy but amazing too.

2. Mimco satchel - I love this A LOT! So smart and not as big as the current bag I lug along everywhere.

3. Tealight holders super cute in the birch timber.

4. Silk shirt perfect for summer - if it ever arrives.

5. Blackboard labels - perfect for jars, and I love the leaf shapes.

6. Button candle - rather quirky but all the colours are so sweet together.

7. Teacup brooch - because I drink lots of tea now.

8. Shoes - these shoes are great kinda half sandal, half ballet slipper.

9. Last but in no way least, perhaps in fact on the top of my wish list! Tickets to see The Swell Season at the Sydney Opera house in January.....it would be so amazing.

The Little Glowing Lights Wish List (international)

This list is perhaps a little redundant right now given the rather sad state of our dollar (postage is a killer!). However there are still so many lovely things I covert from afar.

1. Toast cushion – actually I think it would be pure bliss to have a pair of pillowcases on the bed in this print.

2. Marc Jacobs Watch – I’ve called the Australian stockist on this one and it’s impossible to get here right now. Nordstroms why don’t you ship to Australia!

3. Betsy Walton print – so gorgeous

4. Lines and Shapes - Volume 5

5. Chickadee vase

6. Earrings

7. Vintage Bag

and

8. Georgeous plate

Tempted

Hi there,

Happy Monday. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was peaceful some spring cleaning was done, along with baking, reading and music, very enjoyable!

So I'm not sure if I've shared my stationary obsession here before, but whenever I spy new crisp notebooks, pens, rulers etc I go a little weak at the knees and reason flies out the window. Who says I don't need more! The o-check stationary range has definitely hit a weak spot and it's all so gorgeous and far too easily available at a store I walk past most days of the week. Temptation may get the better of me.

Monday is a Boomerang

I swear Monday is a boomerang day, it just keeps coming back whether you want it or not.

But today is a happy Monday, only a three day work-week (yay four day break coming up) and I’ve had Josh Pyke in my head all day and it’s rather lovely. The first time I listened to the new album I was a little skeptical, so many words, but once you listen to them it’s truly sweet and rather tender. Best listened to whilst walking in the summery evening, admiring blue skies with pinky clouds and the smell of blooms in the air.

See a happy Monday!

Picture of some Toast loveliness, as my computer is still down and I cannot load my own pictures : ( but the slippers and jammies are on my wish list.

Megan Park

How beautiful are the homewares from Megan Park. Extremely gorgeous textures, patterns and colours. I love a few cushions for my sofa. It's a little scary how many lovely things are out there, scary that my budget is not as large as my wists.

Happy friday to you all.

Coveting

Thank you for all your well wishes, I am still home resting but feeling much better. I thought I'd cheer myself up by creating a little list of things I'm coveting right now:

Diary - I love new diaries, is it a little early to be thinking about them just yet?
Tray - it's the birch trees that wins me, and that bright green.
Purse - I love all the designs here.
Chocolate fish - so cute and I really feel like a little bit of chocolate!
SLR - actually going to be mine as soon as I can leave the house!
Top - love the graphic print on this.

What are you coveting right now? I'd love to hear.

Red Accessories

Spring is on its way (two weeks and counting!), there are so many gorgeous red accessories out there at the moment that seem perfectly fitting for this time of year, nice and bright and definitely cheerful. Red is definitely not normally a colour I would go for, rd says it's rebel red. I'm not sure what I'm rebelling against but it sounds good to me.

necklace, shoes, purse, diary and cushions

Bally

I'm sure these Bally posters have been blogged about before and they've appeared in various magazines, but after watching this show tonight and seeing an original up for sale I have to say I was reminded just how great they are. I think the top one is my favourite

Interior Love

I love this kitchen, every element is sooooo me (well what I wished my house was like), the white painted floor, pale blue table and cabinets! I would have to have these blue dishes to go match, can you imagine a green rocket salad sitting in that blue, swoon!

(I apologise, I'm afraid I can't remember where the kitchen is from but the dishes are from here)

Big Green Chicken Rocker

I might be completely behind the 8 ball on this one but I am only just discovering the amazing work of Jamie Hayon. And a big green chicken rocker....that's fantastic, I would love one!

Donna Wilson

Meet Bunny Blue and Baby Blue, Beryl, Ginge, Ralf, Harry Hairy Head and Tig! All made by the incredibly talented Donna Wilson, they are so cute and I love that she has given us a little insight into each of their personalities. I'm sure if you spend so much time making creatures like these you are bound to get to know their little quirks. I also love her tea cosies and cuddly cloud cushions.

Fabric

When I was younger my mum would buy World of Interiors magazines every month (she still does) and I would pour over them (I still do). The one thing I loved most was all the advertisements for fabrics, Colefax and Fowler, Osborne and Little, Designers Guild, always thinking how great it would be to be a fabric designer. Well maybe in some small way this beautiful looking book by Lena Corwin will allow me a little taste of designing and making my own fabric.

Kitsch Kandles

These candles are a fantastic recycling idea made of soy wax. They could be quite easy to make at home I suspect, but I do love the huge variety of colour, shapes and sizes available already made.

Bamboo

The new bamboo collection from Dinosaur Designs is so fantastic, I am smitten! I love the rings especially, they remind me of bentwood chair seats from my childhood. Gorgeous colours too!
