I've been going back to the 20x200 site regularly over the past few months, they have some really great affordable art. Unfortunately the third pic here has sold out, otherwise it would be a hanging on my wall : )

Strawberries

Some pictures I took at a friend’s place last night with proper lighting! We have been talking about food photography for ages and then the opportunity came up when he was asked to take some pictures for another friends berry farm. I learnt a lot.... basically it’s kinda hard, it needs a lot of thought and preparation before hand, and I need a much better camera! It was a lot of fun though even if it was probably one of the hottest nights to be doing something like this.

Ahh another monday done and dusted, is it bad to say I am counting them down till christmas? I need the break more than anything, and I don't think the next few weeks are going to slow down!

So I starting doing some searches for places to visit on my trip next year (I know it's still a loooong way off!), which led me to the Tate online store and these prints by Natsko Seki. They are so great, I had to share.

perhaps oddly quite a few tea towels....I love the designs on all of these, I guess I'm thinking more for hanging on the fridge than for everyday use.

Pinky Peach

Some flowers from my mum's garden in between rain at the weekend, I love that iris it is the most beautiful pinky-peach.

On my table:

*All the Christmas magazines arrived at once, I’m not quite in Christmas mode yet but I suspect the time is going to fly by. The Jamie mag has some great recipes too, a warm cauliflower and green olive salad that is definitely on the menu this week.

* Mini lemon cakes, they were an experiment and they sort of worked, well they tasted pretty good.
